As a specialised wedding and portrait photographer, Charmaine loves the special moments life brings. Another passion of Charmaine’s is design. She appreciates simple, clean work, and the beauty of text. Together with her love of photography, Charmaine produces timeless albums and art pieces to showcase your favourite imagery. Growing up in the country in the far north was where Charmaine’s photography background began. Early work as a weekend sports photographer & reporter created a passion, which carried her through to achieve a Diploma in Photographic imagery and a Certificate in Graphic Design. Entering annual photographic awards has also seen Charmaine win multiple awards for both her wedding & portrait work. She is now a qualified wedding photographer and associate member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography. Thankful to be living in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, Charmaine shares a home in Tauranga with her daughter Summa. Together they enjoy going for bike rides, listening to ‘Murphy’ (their new/old record player) & camping around the North Island. Having a creative mind also sees Charmaine, once in a while, try her hand at other art mediums, such as painting, which always includes her favourite colour red & favourite symbol, the cross. She enjoys a range of sports with a keen interest in netball, volleyball, water skiing and attending the gym whenever the urge arises (although not as often as she should!). She cherishes the time she gets to spend with her family & friends and relax with a glass of Appleton’s or Oyster Bay Sauvignon. <
